Ruby Barrios Tramonte, 84, passed away on Monday, June 6, 2011.

She was the beloved wife of the late August C. Tramonte for 31 years, mother of Michael J. Tramonte and wife Donna Bordelon, daughter of the late Roger and Ocenia Barrios, sister of Belle Barrios and the late Curtis Barrios and aunt of Dianne Barrios Sutherlandand and the late Barry Barrios.

She enjoyed animals, playing cards, bingo and watching the Saints. She was a native of Good Hope and a resident of LaPlace for 25 years.

Visitation and services were held at Ascension of Our Lord Catholic Church in LaPlace on Thursday, June 9, 2011. Burial followed in St. Charles Borromeo Cemetery in Destrehan. Arrangements were by Millet-Guidry Funeral Home of LaPlace.
