River Region Drama Guild presents ‘Annie’

Leapin’ Lizards! Come and join acast of over 40 as they perform the smash-hit musical, “Annie.”

The show stars Big Easy Award-nominated, Elizabeth Donner as Annie, Megan Harms as Grace, Jim Chimento as Daddy Warbucks, Lucas Harms (Big Easy Award winner) as Rooster, Wayne Gonsulin as FDR and Christina Cross as Miss Hannigan. Also starring in the production is Rebecca Matherne as Lily, Jaycie Bergeron as Molly, Shane Fitzpatrick as Pepper, Alexis Breaux as Kate, Haley Taylor as Duffy, Claire Girardot as Tessie, Grace Collins as July, Kelli Hebert as Sophie the Kettle, Jody Berry as the Apple Seller, Rebecca Duckert as Cecille and Ronnie Boylan, Danielle Tenorio as Annette and Bonnie Boylan, Julie Casso as Star to Be and Connie Boylan, Mike Brooks as Bert Healy, Rachel Abbate as Mrs. Pugh, Erika Spengler as Mrs. Greer, Johnathon Whalen as Ward and Joe Matherne as Bundles McCloskey. Playing the Orphans are Samantha Albert, Sarah Brooks, Anjelina Balderas, Harleigh Dahl, Desiree’ Faucheux, Sarah Grosse, Abby Matherne, Brittany Schaubhut, Laura Sullivan and Logan Tauzin. The ensemble is complete with Shelbi Berthelot, Heidi Girardot, Cindy Grosse, Linda Reed, Kellen Frisch, Michael Taravella and Ferrell Greene. 

 The musical “Annie,” directed by Joy C. Duke, will run June 15-17 at 7:30 p.m. in the Destrehan High School Auditorium. Tickets are $20 at the door. Come to the Tuesday, June 14, “Special Friends & Family Preview Night” for a discounted rate of $10.
