National spoken word artist and poet Rosalind D. Davis of Lutcher will be taping an episode of “The Bobby Jones Gospel Show,” which airs nationwide, today for a future broadcast.

Davis has published three books of poetry, “Writing on the Wall,” first and second editions, and “Golden Teardrops.” She released her new CD, “Poetic Reflections, A Poetic Journey,” on Dec. 7.

The CD can be purchased through iTtunes, Rhapsody, Amazon.com, CD Baby, Borders Bookstore, selected K-Marts and The Tate Music Group website. Her books are also available through Amazon.com.

Davis has been traveling across the United States sharing her gift of poetry and her inspiring life story.

Davis has written over 150 poems, but the one that opened many doors for her was “ The Same Day,” which tells of how she was declared cancer-free on the same day as the inauguration of President Barack Obama.

Davis said she never would have made it without a miracle

from God and the prayers and support

of her family and friends.
