Raymond J. Clement, 87, passed away on Monday, May 9, 2011, at Canon Hospice Hospital in Metairie. He was a shipfitter with Avondale Shipyard and a United States Army veteran.

He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Lois Louque Clement, daughter, Susan Dupont (Tommy), two sons, Norbert Clement (Debbie) and David Clement (Donna), 14 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Norbert Clement and Adeline Garcia, and one daughter, Donna Saucier.

Services were held Friday May 13, 2011, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Paulina with Fr. Vincent Dufresne officiant. Military honors followed in the church cemetery.
