Lutcher – St. James Parish Hospital hosted its annual Employee Banquet recently to honor the hospital’s exceptional team for their hard work and dedication that has helped the hospital become an award-winning facility.
This year’s banquet was held at the Public Relations Building in Lutcher and boasted a theme of construction in honor of the hospital’s latest groundbreakings for a five-bed expansion and a new medical office building.
The entire event from decorations to food and games held the hospital’s “Construction Celebration” theme. Employees began the night with a fun, teambuilding game. Each employee was then treated to a themed dinner. Employees enjoyed building their burgers with a host of delicious toppings, munching on dirt cake and visiting the brown bag lunch snack shop to fill up on goodies.
After dinner, employees were recognized for their dedication and years of service to the hospital. Mary Ellen Pratt, CEO of St. James Parish Hospital, praised employees for their commitment and hard work.
“It is truly about the people at St. James Parish Hospital. Each day our employees carry out our mission of providing excellent and compassionate healthcare to the community, and it’s because of this that we are so successful.”
Employees serving the hospital for one, five, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30 and 35 years were each honored individually by their managers and presented with a service pin.
