John H. Estes Jr., 40, passed away after an accident on Thursday, April 28, 2011. He was a Push Boat Captain with Gnots-Reserve Inc. for 10 years. His favorite pasttime was riding his motorcycle.

He is survived by his wife of three years, Kaycee Forrest Estes; two daughters: Harley Morgan and Kaylee Estes; one son, John Henry Estes III; stepfather, Wayne Donaldson; parents: John and Deborah Estes; in-laws: Keith J. Forrest Sr. and Melissa Forrest; grandparents: Joseph and Delores Bonicard; four sisters: Tiffany Estes Bouler (Chip), Amy Lynn Estes, Kathy Donaldson Vignes (Patrick) and Lyndy Donaldson; and a number of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Congetta Bonicard Donaldson, and grandparents, Forsee “Jack” and Lena Estes.

Visitation and services were held on Tuesday, May 3, 2011, at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Destrehan. Entombment followed in the church mausoleum. Family and friends are invited to send their condolences to www. hcalexanderfuneralhome.com.
