Alvin J. “Al” Arabie, 80, passed away on Wednesday April 27, 2011.

He was the beloved father of Susan Klumpp (Johnny), Linda White (Gary) and the late Jerry Simoneaux. He is also survived by six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He was the brother of Richard Arabie and Dorothy Bollinger.

He was an Army veteran of WW II. He was a native of Lutcher and a resident of LaPlace.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend services. Visitation will be at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, 529 W. Fifth St., LaPlace, on Saturday, April 30, 2011, from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m., followed by Mass at 10 a.m. Burial will be in St. John Memorial Gardens Cemetery in LaPlace. Arrangements are by Millet-Guidry Funeral Home of LaPlace.
