LULING — Over 1,500 runners and walkers participated recently, in the 15th annual United Way of St. Charles 5K Bridge Run/Walk sponsored by Norco Manufacturing Complex and Valero.

“Race participants were greeted with beautiful weather for this year’s Bridge

Run. We hear from many participants that the view from the Hale Boggs Bridge can’t be beat, especially on a great day like this. I encourage anyone to participate in the event just to take advantage of the scenery St. Charles Parish and the Hale Boggs Bridge has to offer,” stated United Way of St. Charles Executive Director John Dias.
