A grand opening ceremony was recently held for the Metropolitan Center for Women and Children in Norco. The new facility is called the Apple Center. The center is a social service agency that aids victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, dating violence, stalking and human trafficking in the River Parishes. Anyone needing assistance should call 504-837-5400.
