West St. John High’s Senior Beta Club attended the State Beta Convention in Baton Rouge. While at the convention, Beta Club members participated in individual academic competitions and group competitions such as quiz bowl and team novels tests. Beta Club members also designed greeting cards for children at St. Jude’s Hospital. Johnathan Sandolph was the recipient of one of two $1,000 LELA 2011 Beta Club Convention Scholarships.
