BATON ROUGE – Gov. Bobby Jindal announced the appointment of Ricky Bosco of Destrehan to the Pontchartrain Levee District Board of Commissioners.

Bosco is the president of Bosco Brothers International LLC. Bosco will serve as a representative from St. Charles Parish, nominated by one or more of its legislators, as required by statute.

The Pontchartrain Levee Board is responsible for maintaining the integrity of the levees and maintaining the levee drainage systems within East Baton Rouge, Iberville, Ascension, St. James, St. John the Baptist, and St. Charles Parishes.
