St. Joan of Arc announces Carnival royalty

Members of the St. Joan of Arc Catholic School’s 2011 Krewe Jeanne d’Arc Carnival Ball Court and their families have raised more than

$76,000 in a major fund-raiser for the LaPlace school.

 To participate in the court, couples must raise a minimum of $800. They sponsor several fund-raisers such as garage sales, dinners, bake sales and raffles throughout the year.

 The Carnival balls will be presented Feb. 18-19 at 7 p.m. in the Family Life Center in LaPlace. The junior court will be presented on Feb. 18 and the senior court on Feb. 19.

 Junior Court Queen and King are Shana Breaux and Gavin Babesh. Junior Court Princess and Prince are Rylee Alexander and Mason Cassioppi. Maids and Dukes for the Junior Court are Hannah Edmonds and Luke Brouwer, April Bourlet and Luke Perret, Kymberly Hillstrom and Jared Babesh, Patience Pray and Jonah Raiford, Aleigha Martin and Eli Ory, Grace Vicknair and Carlo Barber, Shelby Ory and David “Trey” Desilvey, Madeleine Levet and Kaile Levatino, Hannah Hauck and Jacob Todd, Courtney Brouwer and Kade Edmonds and Taylor Miller and Aaron Espenan.

Senior Court Queen and King are Madeleine Murphy and Patrick Ratliff. Senior Court Princess and Prince are Abrielle Stoltz and Nicholas Roussel. Maids and Dukes for the Senior Court are Heather Roussel and Zachary Maurin, Sarah Brady and Devin Cashio, Heather Lions and Tyler Schaeffer, Rachael Cicero and Patrick Angelette, Erin Monica and Jeffrey Cupit, Ashlyn Hymel and Emile Cupit, Megan Shine and Austin Hymel, Megan Christy and Geoffrey Wagner, Mya Leake and Taylor Soileau, and Alexandra Creel and Blake Doming.
