Shelly Dufresen Chauvin of Edgard, received her Doctor of Education from Southeastern Louisiana University. Chauvin is married to DJ Chauvin and has three children, Carter, Alyse and Celie. She is the daughter of Rita and Ronald Dufresne of Vacherie.
