This year the Belle Terre Civic Association will host the first ever Halloween decorating contest within the area. All residents are encouraged to decorate their homes and/or yards for Halloween. Judging will be done during the week of Oct. 25 to 29 and prizes will be awarded for three best decorated homes or yards…$50, $30, and $20.

On Saturday, Nov. 20, the BTCA will be holding their annual food collection for the St. John Ministry of Care. Residents are asked to start stocking up on cake mixes, cake icing, Stove Top Stuffing, macaroni and cheese and rice. The residents are asked to put their food items at their mailboxes on that date and crews of volunteers will be around to pick up the donations.

During the month of December the organization will hold their annual wine and cheese gathering at the Belle Terre Country Club. During December the organization will be starting up their annual Christmas home decorating contest.
