Roy Anthony Hopkins, 60, passed away on Tuesday, Sept. 14, 2010, at West Jefferson Hospital in Marrero. He was a member of Life House Church in Reserve.

He is survived by two sons, Buck and Roy Hopkins Jr.; six brothers, Narvie Jr., Arvie, Roland, Ralph, Henry and Jack Hopkins; two sisters, Theresa Jacobi and Patricia Curry; and four grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Narvie Hopkins Sr. and Rita Jean Navarre.

Visitation was held Saturday, Sept. 18, 2010, at the Life House in Reserve. Celebration of Life services were held at the church.
