Fifty-four members of River Parishes Hospital’s Senior Friends Program recently took a bus trip to enjoy lunch at Mandina’s Restaurant in New Orleans, tour the Aquarium of the Americas and watch the award-winning IMAX film “Hurricane on the Bayou.”

This bus trip to the Aquarium and IMAX Theater is just one of the many activities available to seniors through the hospital’s Senior Friends Program. Members also receive discounts in the hospital cafeteria and gift shop, in the Fit At 50 exercise classes and at several local businesses in the River Parishes area. In addition, members receive valuable health, wellness and travel discounts through the National Association of Senior Friends.
