Nolan Walden recently celebrated his 90th birthday with a lunch at New Orleans Hamburger and Seafood in LaPlace, shared with family and friends.

Walden was born June 10, 1920, in Boneville, Miss. Among those attending were his sisters, Pauline Stennett of Booneville and Alice Arnold of Baldwyn, Miss. Other family memebers came from Tennessess, Alabama and California. Four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren were also present.

Walden has resided in LaPlace for 46 years, moving from Kenner with his late wife, Virginia Scott Walden.
