Edna Earl Slawson Breaux, 68, of LaPlace passed away Friday, June 11, 2010, at her home. She was a native of Jackson, Miss., where she met her husband of 45 years, Robert Breaux Sr., and was married on Nov. 6, 1965.

Visitation was at Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs, on Tuesday, June 15, followed by a service officiated by Dr. Richard Blue. Burial was at Evergreen Memorial Park.

She is survived by her husband, daughters Pamela Miller Fortier, Lisa Breaux Kinney and Kristy Breaux Harris, son Robert Breaux Jr., grandchildren Timothy Fortier, Sean Fortier, Lindsay Teague Thibodeaux, Ryan Teague and Jennifer Harris, great-grandchildren Logan and Greyson Fortier, sister Abbie Jewell West and brothers Johnny and Fred Slawson.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James Kirk Slawson and Annie May Presley Slawson, brother J.K. Slawson and sister Elizabeth Strickland.
