Local named All-American Scholar

The United States Achievement Academy announced that Rebekah Taylor of Lutcher has been named an All-American Scholar.
The USAA has established the All-American Scholar Award Program to offer deserved recognition to superior students who excel in the academic disciplines. The All-American Scholars must earn 3.3 or higher grade point averages.
Taylor, who attends Lutcher High School, was nominated for this honor by Leslie Boucvalt. Taylor will appear in the All-American Scholar Yearbook which is published nationally.
Taylor is the daughter of Billy and Tammy Taylor from Lutcher. The grandparents are Walter and Lyndia Gray of Paulina and Kearney Hidalgo and the late Eloise Hidalgo of Gramercy.
