LAPLACE – L’Observateur sponsored a coloring contest in honor of Earth Day in April, and budding artists were invited to show off their coloring skills.

Allison Guidry, a third-grader at St. Peter’s School, won first place, collecting $75 and a pizza party for her class.

Alaina Andry, a fourth-grader at Ascension of Our Lord, won the second place prize of $50, and Mya Voiron, a kindergartener at St. Joan of Arc, won $25, the third place prize.
