Performing Arts Dance Center Award Winning Dance Company wins outstanding awards competing at the Kids Artistic Revue, Creation Dance and Dance Xplosion competitions this year. They have won several Platinum, Top first, Extreme Gold, Title, Most Entertaining, Choreography of the Year, 100 percent percent Energy and Best Technique awards to name a few. Throughout the year the Dance Company performed at many community events including St. Joan of Arc Carnival Ball, the Andouille Festival, Ascension of Our Lord Cotillion and the St. Joan of Arc Fair. Also won was first place Overall Marching Group two years in a row. The Dance Company will be featured in their upcoming dance recital on Saturday, May 29, 2010, at the Mahalia Jackson Theatre of Performing Arts beginning at 5 p.m.
