LAPLACE — Bull’s Corner, a popular eatery in LaPlace, has abruptly shut down after 25 years in business.

A typed message on the front doors to the restaurant, located at 1036 W. Airline Highway in LaPlace, notified would-be customers of the closure: “Bulls Corner is closed. Thank you for your business for the last 25 years.” A similar message was sent out Monday via e-mail to people on a mailing list.

Sunday was the last day of operation for the restaurant. Owners were not immediately available for comment.
