DHS gets a lesson from Motiva

Motiva employees Gerard Borne and Pat Meche using a crane along with rigging materials from Motiva conducted rigging training to carpentry and welding students at Destrehan High School. The training fulfills the rigging portion of the National Center for Construction Education and Research Core Curriculum. NCCER is a curriculum of standardized craft training covering 30 craft areas and includes all major construction skills. The curriculum is industry-proven and competency-based.
