NORCO – Generations of the Waguespack clan and its various branches gathered at the American Legion Hall in Norco Saturday for a day of fun, food and memories.

This is the third time the family, which originated with Louis and Delphine Waguespack, has assembled en masse since 1989. The last reunion was held in 2000.

One of the highlights of the day — besides a feast of jambalaya and red beans — was a photo slideshow prepared by Dee Simoneaux of LaPlace showing the evolution of the family since Louis and Delphine moved to Norco so many years ago. Although parts of the family have since moved from the Norco area, the family remains close-knit.
