Recently Dance Unlimited of the River Parishes traveled to Mobile, Ala., to compete in the Star Systems Talent Competition, where they had much success.

Dance Unlimited entered 61 routines out of over 300 competing and finished with 32 overall award placements, seven first overall high score of the day awards, 23 first place category awards, three outstanding judges awards, 11 high silver awards, 24 gold awards, 18 high gold awards and eight platinum awards.

Platinum is two points away from a perfect score. There were only 10 Platinum Awards given, and Dance Unlimited received eight of them.
