GRAMERCY – The River Region Chamber of Commerce held their fourth annual Super Raffle and Crawfish Boil Friday at the St. James Welcome Center.
The smell of crawfish, jambalaya and fried catfish filled the evening air while scores of locals came to enjoy the music and entertainment.
Under the pavilion, the Mobile Music Unlimited played music and even mini game shows between songs. The game shows questions ranged from Disney facts to “Who won the 2009 Super Bowl?” Representatives from different companies were pulled on stage to participate while co-workers sat and enjoyed the show.
As the night continued, the big events of the evening — namely a $2,500 raffle and a Jazz Fest ticket giveaway — loomed.
The winner of the $2,500 was Mike Silva, and the winner of two Jazz Fest tickets was Doug Roads of Entergy.
And when the sunset and the mosquitoes came out, it was time to end the party.
