East St. John students compete at rally

These East St. John High School students competed and placed at the District Literary Rally at Nicholls State University. They are (front row) Kiri Bernard-Sociology, Taylor Vaughn-Physical Science, Tiffany Riley-Environmental Science, Holly Howe-Extemporaneous Speaking, Tai Nicholas-Spanish III, and Monet Johnson-Business/Financial Math; and (back row) Gabriel Richards-Algebra I, Sean Thomas-World History, Dasjon Jordan-Art, Lee Tamplain-Food & Nutrition, Sean Brown-Accounting, and Terrance Saul-World Geography. Bernard placed first overall in Sociology among all five divisions, and Brown, Riley, and Howe all place third among all five divisions in their respective subject areas. All of the other students qualified to compete at the state level by receiving a high score within ESJHS’s division.
