The St. Joseph Altar at St. Peter Chanel, originally the third grade retreat, was reassigned to the prekindergarten through fourth grades. Each class had the opportunity to choose an activity. Prekindergarten iced cookies, one kindergarten colored fish and the other made St. Joseph candles. The first grade also made St. Joseph candles, the second grade cut out palms, the third grade made passion flowers and the fourth graders made crowns of thorns out of chocolate and pretzel sticks.
