Keep St. John Beautiful has received a $9,000 grant from Keep Louisiana Beautiful.

An affiliate of Keep America Beautiful, Keep Louisiana Beautiful provides communities with funds to undertake and accomplish local projects aimed at neighborhood and community improvement and restoration. Keep St. John Beautiful is one of only 22 agencies receiving a KLB Community Grant this year.

Keep St. John Beautiful will use these funds to conduct special litter enforcement details, to purchase pick-up tools and to educate about preventing littering.

“The committee prides itself on bringing key people to the table and keeping beautification issues in the fore front,” said Tom Daley, chairman of Keep St. John Beautiful.

Keep Louisiana Beautiful is a volunteer-based service organization dedicated to a healthy and litter-free Louisiana.
