SCB fights abortion in the nation’s capital

St. Charles Borromeo Fountain of Youth members carried this banner as they joined over 300,000 people from around the country in Washington D.C. for the 37th Annual March For Life. Thirty-seven years ago the Supreme Court voted in favor of the Roe v. Wade Bill to legalize abortion. The trip included participating in the Mass For Life at the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception where more than 1,200 clergy processed in the church for over 45 minutes.
The students had the opportunity to tour the White House, the Capitol, the National Monuments, the Holocaust Museum, the Smithsonian Institute and its museums, the Arlington Cemetery, they went to the top of the Washington Monument and Georgetown and attend a special Mass for the Archdiocese of New Orleans celebrated by Archbishop Aymond.
