On Saturday, Feb. 6, 2010, Get High on Life, together with the Lutcher KC’s, will sponsor the 11th Annual Super Bowl Prayer Breakfast.

This year will be special with our New Orleans Saints playing for the championship. The theme of the breakfast is “When the Saints Go Marching In.” The public is encouraged to come and enjoy a hearty meal prepared by the KC Cooking Crew.

With all the problems facing America today, the Super Bowl weekend will provide an escape for most people to forget the troubled times.

The intention of the breakfast is to encourage men, women and children to become active members of God’s team and to promote His Kingdom.

A Saints’ victory would be exciting, but keep in mind that the only victory that matters is a personal relationship with His Son, Jesus.

As we anxiously look forward to the game, let’s remember what God’s Word says in Chronicles 7:14: “If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from Heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.”

The breakfast will be held at the Lutcher KC Home and begin at 8 a.m. What better way to start an exciting weekend than by thanking God for having blessed America!
