LaPlace — The 4-year-old students at Wee Care Preschool visited Capital One Bank as part of their studies of the letter “B.”

Upon entering the bank, the students were greeted by Jackie Potter, assistant vice president of the LaPlace branch, and Cherie Sims, the branch’s service coordinator. The bank tour was not only educational, but the students also got to assist the bank tellers at the drive-up window and interact with bank customers. Sims helped the students run their coins they brought from home through the coin machine. The students then waited in the teller line and gave their coin tickets to the tellers in exchange for cash money.
