Recently, 35 Hurst students were presented a grant for $3335 to purchase materials in support of the Hurst Wetland Watchers Project at the Joe and Dorothy Dorsett Brown Foundation Service-Learning Grant Kick-off Celebration. Hurst students were able to share their knowledge with over 1100 students representing nine parishes.
