St. Charles is riding high these days with an undefeated record, and last Friday night did nothing to quell enthusiasm among Comet faithful. SCC blasted rival Riverside 48-7 in Reserve, and now the fourth ranked Comets await district rival and Class 2A No. 1 John Curtis, who comes to LaPlace on Friday. Against the Rebels, Henri Faucheux completed 11-of-14 passes for 221 yards and four scores. Jeffery Hall totaled 201 yards from scrimmage and scored four times. Brandon Becker added another two scores, and the SCC defense held RA to a lone touchdown. A similar complete game effort will be needed on Friday.
