LAPLACE – A 23-year-old LaPlace man was booked with possession of pornography involving juveniles after a search of his home by a state task force Thursday.

Lloyd William Addison Jr. of 419 Camphor Drive was taken into custody in connection with an undercover investigation, said Jennifer Roche of the state attorney general’s office.

Roche said members of the attorney general’s high technology crimes unit, the St. John Parish Sheriff’s Office, State Police officers, and Immigration and Customs Enforcement executed the sting operation on Addison’s home.

The attorney general’s office did not reveal any more details regarding the investigation or what was found at the home.

According to St. John Sheriff’s Office spokesman Dane Clement, as of Monday Addison remains in jail at the Sherman Walker Correctional Facility in LaPlace on a $50,000 bond.
