Donnie Paul Duhe, age 54, passed away on Saturday, Oct. 3, 2009. He was a resident of Slidell for the past three years but had lived in Norco for 51 years.

He was a retired employee of Shell Oil Company after 30 years of service and a Pro Inspect employee for two years.

He is survived by daughter Daneel Duhe Chandler, son-in-law James Chandler II and brother  Lt. Col. Keith M. Duhe USMC (Ret.) as well as two grandchildren, Rayna Rose Chandler and James Charles Chandler III.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Herbert L. “Do-Do” Duhe and Rosemary Duhe and two brothers, Herbert and Richard Duhe.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 13, 2009, from 10 a.m. until 12:45 p.m. at the H. C. Alexander Funeral Home, 821 Fourth St., Norco. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 13, 2009, at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church with Fr. Msg. Terry Becnel officiating. Interment will follow in the St. Charles Borromeo Mausoleum in Destrehan.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the H. C. Alexander Funeral Home in Norco.
