Hahnville High presents ‘Miss Nelson is Missing’

The Hahnville High School Drama Club will present “Miss Nelson is Missing” by Jeffrey Hatcher, based on the popular children’s book by Harry Allard, starring St. Charles Parish teacher of the year Eugenie Smith as Miss Nelson, the too nice teacher who can’t control her crazy classroom until the evil Miss Swamp arrives.
Performances are Thursday, Oct. 22, and Saturday, Oct. 24, at 7 p.m. and Sunday, Oct. 25, at 3 p.m. Tickets are $7 for adults and $5 for students 18 years old and under. Faculty and staff get in free with ID. Sunday’s performance is family day where all tickets are $5 and children 7 years old and under get in free.
The production is directed by Daniel Ruiz and stars HHS Choir Teacher Craig Matherne as the Principal and students Nicholas Carbo, Colton Rachal, Marcus Kalbacher, Skye Dufrene, Allison Dukes, Tommacenia Sumlin, Jiah Jefferson, Katherine Jessup, Nikki Breaux, Macy Gaubert and Arthur Schexnaydre.
