A memorial gathering will be held on Aug. 9, 2009, at 4 p.m. along with a balloon release at 4:45 p.m. in remembrance of the five young men killed last year in a boating accident on Blind River at Highway 51 Park (next to the St. John Parish library). Friends and family are invited.
