Mary Lynn Haydel Prejean passed away on Wednesday, July 1, 2009 at the age 73. She was born in LaPlace and a resident of Kenner for the past 38 years. Beloved wife of the late Ray Charles Prejean. Loving mother of David and Kevin Prejean. Mother-in-law of Jeannine Jeanfreau Prejean and Brandy Deroche. Daughter of the late Nelson and Norma Desroche Haydel. Sister of Gay Bergeron (late husband, Jim) and Nelson “Sonny” Haydel, Jr. (wife, Judy). Grandmother of Kade and Zane Prejean. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Mass at St. Peter Catholic Church, 1550 Hwy 44 (River Rd.), Reserve, LA at 12:00 noon. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. Interment in St. Peter Catholic Church Cemetery. Arrangements by L. A. Muhleisen and Son Funeral Home.
