BATON ROUGE – Governor Bobby Jindal announced the appointment of Randal Gaines of LaPlace to the Board of Supervisors of Southern University and Agricultural and Mechanical College.

Gaines is a veteran of the United States Army and the managing attorney for Randal Gaines Law Office.

He is a member of the River Region Chamber of Commerce and the Louisiana Bar Association.

Gaines will serve as a representative of the Third Congressional District, as required by statute.

The Board of Supervisors of Southern University and Agricultural and Mechanical  College serves to manage and supervise the Southern University System.
