Thursday marked the 200th anniversary of the birth of America’s 16th president, Abraham Lincoln, and on Monday the nation will celebrate President’s Day. To commemorate this historic milestone, the main branch of the St. John Public Library is displaying some Lincoln-related memorabilia, including this one-of-a-kind painting commissioned by Danny Becnel and Judge Mary Hotard-Becnel, on loan to the library for the next six months.
