Snyder explained, “The goal of this event is multi-faceted. We want children to meet firefighters and learn about fire safety; we would like the community to have an opportunity to learn details of the services the department performs and have the chance to volunteer themselves; to attract teens to become Junior Volunteers; and have fun!”

Snyder continued, “We enjoy providing demonstrations that highlight our service and hope to illustrate ‘neighbors helping neighbors’. We look forward to hosting our Open House for the community on November 22.”
