GARYVILLE – Fundraising for San Francisco Plantation’s 3rd annual concert featuring the Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra received a strong boost this week after Entergy Corporation generously donated $5,000 for the event.  The concert, scheduled for Sunday, November 2, is a celebration of fine classical music to start the holiday season.  The backdrop of the historic plantation will create a stunning atmosphere for families and friends to experience the magnificent sounds of the orchestra.

The event will benefit the important cause of supporting the Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra and San Francisco Plantation, which have both suffered tremendous hardship following Hurricane Katrina.  Additional sponsors are needed to make this event a success.  If you are interested in donating, please contact San Francisco Plantation at (985) 535-2341.
