Alphonso

Patricia Alphonso, 59, died Friday, July 4, 2008. The lifelong Luling area resident is survived by son Edgar Paul Crichet Jr., daughter Rachel Crochet Villavaso, brother Joseph B. Blanchard III, sister Katherine B. Mehrhoff, ex-husband Edgar Paul Crochet Sr. and four grandchildren.

 Preceded in death by husband Lloyd E. Alphonso, sister Kathleen B. Brown and parents Joseph Blanchard Jr. and Margaret Schmill Cologne.

Visistation and services were held Friday, July 11, at Holy Family Catholic Church in Luling. Interment in St. Charles Cemetery in Luling.

Blount

Myrtis Faucheux Blount, 95, died July 7, 2008. The Lutcher native and Kenner resident was wife of the late Lyle Bryson Blount Sr., daughter of the late Wilhelm and Martha Faucheux, mother of Lyle Bryson Blount Jr., Sr. Maureen B. Little and Christopher John Blount, grandmother of Ardley R. Hanemann III, Christophe Lyle Hanemann, Kristen Blount, Christy Catalano and Bryson Blount and great-grandmother of Abigail, Samuel, Ian, Cecelia and Kolbe Hanemann.

Visitation and services were held Thursday, July 10, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Paulina followed by interment in St. Joseph Cemetery.
