GARYVILLE – A town hall meeting will be held on Monday, July 7 at the Garyville Magnet School concerning the upcoming vote to consider the incorporation of the Town of Garyville.

Organizers with the Garyville Incorporation Committee have set the meeting from 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday, saying they will report “the truth about taxes.”

Russell Starns, president of the School Board in Central, La., will be the guest speaker. He was also the chairman for the incorporation drive when Central had its own vote to become a municipality.
