A 2005 Jeep Laredo sits in a mangled wreck on the side of Spruce Street after losing a battle with an oncoming train. The driver of the vehicle, 29-year-old Trenesha Love of LaPlace, suffered minor injuries when she pulled into the path of the Canadian National freight train as it passed the crossing, near the intersection of Spruce Street and Capt.
