Riverlands posted another decisive effort last Thursday night to remain undefeated, defeating visiting Ellington 505-46.

The win meant Riverlands (4-0) was a Monday win over Hill Heights away from clinching at least second place in the River Parish Swim League regular season. Two wins, over the Hurricanes and Larayo, would clinch the title.

Riverlands led 98-10 after the freestyle stroke. It would score 94 in the backstroke, 99 in the breaststroke, and 81 in the butterfly.

The Stingrays rounded out the scoring with 70 and 63 point efforts in the medley and freestyle relay events, respectively.

Daniel Jaubert, Kyle Wilking, Anna Guidry, Grace Richoux, Elise Loisel, Maddie Guidry, and Merryn Guidry each captured three individual first place finishes for the Stingrays.

Olivia Hijaz, Alex Creel, Matt Torres, Andre St. Martin, Cameron Torres, Will Torres, and Trey Catorie each had two first place finishes for Riverlands.

Rounding out the first place swimmers for Riverlands were: Jeremy Moore, Matthew St. Martin, Jeffery

Cupit, Jack Young, Shana Breaux, Abby Trepagnier, Kelsey Richoux, and Charley Arceneaux.
