Iceola “Ceola” Dominick Dunmiles, 83, died June 15, 2008. The Hahnville resident is the daughter of the late Leola Bell and Camille Dominick; wife of the late Elijah Dunmiles Sr.; mother of Annie Nixon, Alvenes Dunmiles, George Dunmiles, Henry Dunmiles, Larry Dunmiles, Joyce Dunmiles, Garret Dunmiles, the late Leola Mitchell, the late J. C. Ranson, the late Elijah Dunmiles, the late Elton Tee Dunmiles, and the late Henry Louis Dunmiles. Visitation and funeral services will be held Saturday, June 21, 2008, at Philadelphia Baptist Church, 217 Smith Street, Hahnville, LA, starting at 10 a.m. Interment at Bethlehem Cemetery, Hahnville, LA.

James “Jimmy” Nathan Murdock, 47, died June 16, 2008. The St. Rose native and resident is the son of James Murdock Jr. and Jacqueline Madison Murdock; brother of Glenn Brown Sr., Shelia Thomas, Vanessa Webb, Lisa Smith, Steven Murdock, and the late Melinda Murdock; grandson of the late James and Hilda Morgan Murdock, and Frederick and Lydia Tillman Madison. Richard Wilson Dr. (formerly 3rd St.), Kenner, La., starting at 9 a.m. Interment at Resthaven Memorial Park, New Orleans, La.

Donald “Duck” Pidgeon, 55, died June 18, 2008. The Garyville resident was the son of Detroit and Edith Keller Pidgeon; father of Brent Burl, LaJaun Davis, and Denise Pidgeon; brother of Dolores P. McCoy, Brenda P. Duhe, Deborah P. Nelson, Detroit Pidgeon Jr., Ronald Pidgeon, and the late Michael Pidgeon, and Gloria P. Desselle. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Anderson and Telvina Pidgeon, and Anatole and Leona Keller. Visitation and Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, June 21, 2008 at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, River Road, Reserve, La., starting at 9 a.m. Entombment at St. Peter Catholic Church Mausolem, Reserve, La.
