Brady
Joseph A. “Joe” Brady Jr., died June 12, 2008. The Norco native was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph A. Brady, Sr. and Leontine Gaudet Brady. He is survived by his wife, Ruth Hebert Brady; his sister, Audrey Livingston; six children, Kenneth Michael Brady, Charles Keith Brady, Timothy David Brady, Elizabeth Ann Sebastian, Brian Patrick Brady, and Claire Marie Landry. Visitation and mass of Christian burial were held Monday, June 16, 2008 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, Destrehan, La. Entombment in the Church Mausoleum.
Millet
Michael Joseph Millet, 49, died June 13, 2008. The Lutcher native and resident is survived by his wife, Victoria Hopkins Millet; mother, Joyce Berthelot Millet; daughter, Sunni Autumn Millet; son, Michael A. LeBouef, Jr.; four brothers, David P. Millet, Donald F. Millet, Durel A. Millet and Godfrey F. Millet, Jr.; sister, Donna M. Arceneaux; and godchild, Terri A. Navarre. He is Preceded in death by his father, Godfrey F. Millet, Sr.; and godmother, Theresa M. Berthelot. Visitation and mass of Christian burial were held Tuesday, June 17, 2008, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Gramercy, La. Interment in St. Joseph Cemetery, Paulina, La.

Geraldine ‘Gerry’ Mary Faucheux Labat, on Sunday, June 15, 2008 at 12:27 a.m. Wife of 48 years to Raymond August Labat of Crowley; daughter of the late Emile Faucheux, Sr. and Cecilia Waguespack Faucheux; mother of Steven Labat of Houma, Paul Labat and fiancee Rachelle Hulin of Duson, Kevin Labat and wife Chasity, Alsion Dryden and husband Bret of Houma, Shirley LaFleur and companion Steven Miller of Crowley, Carolyn Bertrand and husband Randy of Estherwood, Tammy Arceneaux and husband Donald Jr., Carla Bergeron and husband Jason of Houma, Pauline Hartsell and husband James of Lyons Point and Mandy Richard and husband Terrence of Duson; sister of Norman Faucheux and wife Cindy of Hammond, Emile Faucheux Jr. and wife Lana of Vacherie and the late Claudia Senft. Also survived by 17 grandchildren and one on the way and three great grandchildren. Age 66 years, a native of Vacherie and a resident of Crowley. She was a homemaker, loving wife, mother and grandmother.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday, June 18, 2008 at 12:00 Noon at St. Bernadette Catholic Church, 409 Funderburk Ave., Houma, La., with interment at St. Francis de Sales #2 Cemetery, Houma, La. Edith Babin Mongrue, age 92, born December 5, 1915, passed on Tuesday, June 10, 2008. A native of Thibodaux and resident of Luling. Survived by son Lethien E. Mongrue Jr., daughter, Barbara Mongrue Sumrall, nine grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren.
Preceded in death by husband Lethien E. Mongrue Sr., parents, Desire and Amelia Guidry Babin, son-in-laws, Vance Troxler and Charles H. Sumrall, daughters, Sylvia Mongrue Troxler, brother, Willie ‘Bill’, Gaston, Leo, Ferdinand, Blaize, Harold and Edward ‘Eddie’ Babin, sisters, Louise Hebert, Bernice Talbot, grandson, Ted Julian Troxler.
