Martin

Harry “Neg” Michel Martin, Sr., 83, died June 10, 2008. The Paulina resident is survived by daughters Dianne M. Matherne, Sandra M. Kliebert, and Danette M. Alleman; sons Harry M. Martin Jr., Keith M. Martin, and Dale A. Martin. He is also survived by a brother Michel Martin Jr., and sisters Solange M. Faucheux, Wilhemina M. Heltz and Hazel M. Simon. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Stella Rome Martin, Parents, Michel Martin & Virginia Deslatte Martin, son Donald K. Martin, Grandson Jason J. Martin and brother Earl J. Martin. Visitation and mass of Christian burial were held Friday, June 13, 2008, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Paulina, La. Interment at St. Joseph’s Mausoleum.  

Cassagne

Noelie Schexnayder Cassagne, 91, died June 11, 2008. The Reserve resident was the wife of the late Harris Cassagne Sr.; mother of Harris Cassagne Jr., Charles Michael Cassagne, Daryl Cassagne, Mark Cassagne, and the late Carolyn Ann Cassagne. Visitation was held Thursday, June 12, and Friday, June 13, at Millet-Guidry L.L.C. Funeral Home, LaPlace, La. Religious Services were held Friday, June 13, at St. Peter Catholic Church, Reserve, La. Burial in St. Peter Cemetery in Reserve, La.

Tamplain

David J. Tamplain, 73, died June 5, 2008. The Garyville native was the husband of Carol Tamplain; father of David Tamplain, Raymond Tamplain, Cindy Tyner, Karen Taylor, Kathy Howard, and the late Sonya Tamplain; son of the late Thomas and Wina Tamplain; Brother of Thomas Tamplain, Harry Tamplain, Robert Tamplain, Lionel Tamplain, Leona Miano, Yvonne Keating, Carolyn Hahn, and the late Huey Tamplain. Visitation was held Sunday, June 8, at Millet-Guidry Funeral Home, LaPlace, La. Religious services were held Monday, June 9, at St. Hubert Catholic Church, Garyville, La. Burial in St. Peter Cemetery, Reserve.

Glidden

Neil R. Glidden, 34, died June 8, 2008. The LaPlace resident was the husband of Jennifer Glidden, father of Alexander Glidden, Devin Collins and Victoria Glidden, son of Harry and Sara Glidden, brother of Brent Glidden. Visitation and services were held Friday, June 14, 2008, at the First United Methodist Church, 301 Bamboo Rd., LaPlace. Burial to be private at a later date.

Perilloux

Curtis J. Perilloux, 39, died June 9, 2008. The LaPlace native and Montz resident was the father of Brittany Perilloux; brother of Ronald Perilloux, Donna LeBlanc, and the late Annette Bourgeois; son of Emile Perilloux and the late Linda Perilloux; and stepson of Sandra Perilloux. Visitation and funeral services were held Thursday, June 12 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Paulina, La. Interment in St. Joseph Mausoleum.

Macloud

Irby J. Macloud, 78, died June 9, 2008. The New Sarpy resident is survived by daughters Becky Richards and Antoinette Bourg, brothers William and Edward Macloud, sisters Gloria Fox, Norma Hinyup, Emily Miguez and Julie Palmisano, grandchildren Jenny and Beth Richards, Heather Bourg and Danielle and Alan Berthelot and great-grandchildren Meghan and Nicholas Berthelot.

Preceded in death by wife Audrey Macloud, parents Robert and Emily Guidroz Macloud, brothers Robert T. and Gary Macloud and sister Barbara Godall.

Visitation and services were held Friday, June 13, at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Destrehan. Interment in Jefferson Memorial Gardens in St. Rose.

Malbrough

Wilson Malbrough Sr., 89, died June 10, 2008. The Gramercy native is survived by his wife, Elaine Loupe Malbrough. He was the father of Brian, Mona, Sharon, and Wilson Jr.; son of the late Wilson and Burnadette Conrad Malbrough. Visitation was held Thursday, June 12, and Friday, June 13, 2008, at Alexander Funeral Home, Lutcher, La. Funeral services were held Friday, June 13, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Gramercy, La. Interment at St. Joseph Mausoleum, Paulina, La.
